Scanner radios have been a hobby of mine ever since I was a member of Buckroe Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad in Hampton, VA some 15 years ago. I haven't ridden an ambulance in about 10 years, but I've never lost interest.
I've been interested in Ham radio for about 4 years, now. About a year ago I sat for the exam. I now hold a Technician class license. I'm looking to get a 2M HT one of these days, but right now I am content scanning the bands with my Uniden SportCat -150.
Here are some links to Ham radio and scanner radio sites. I'll be dividing the list into separate sections for scanning and ham radio as I get more links. Soooo....If you know of any more, let me know about them.
